I think the Stripe CLI will by default use the API version set in your account.

Can you share your account ID (acct_xxx)? It's at the top of this page: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/account

the old one is set as default

however, it does show that I've sent requests with the 2022-08-01 version

i can click upgrade here, hopefully that fixes it

It works now, thank you! Not sure why the API version would be controlled from the account rather than the CLI in this case, but now I know at least. Thread can be closed!
