Hi! I'm taking over this thread.
So you are trying to test this flow: https://stripe.com/docs/terminal/references/testing?locale=it-IT#:~:text=(Contactless%2C non-US only) Payment is declined with an offline_pin_required code. When using readers featuring a cardholder-facing screen%2C follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transaction. If a PIN is required%2C enter the PIN 1234
So I starts a payment with decimal 02
Can you share the PaymentIntent ID (pi_xxx)?
And what does it mean in "non-US only"?
It looks like this can only be tested with readers that are NOT in the US.
How to know whether my reader is in the US? Does it check it by GPS, IP, etc.?
I'd imagine it's related to the Location in which you register the reader
you can check on the diagnostic screen which regional configuration it's using(https://stripe.com/docs/terminal/readers/bbpos-wisepos-e#reader-software-version)
I just did this flow on my own reader registered in Ireland, I tap the card, then have to insert it, then it asks for "Stripe credit" or "Stripe PIN credit", if I pick the latter then I can enter the 1234 PIN and complete the payment
