is there a way for me as a developer to see the customer portal from his PoV?
Yes you can create a portal session for that Customer and go to the portal link
can I do that via the interface? or do I need to call the api

Yeah if you wanted to test as that customer you would need to use the API, as the no-code portal requires having access the email address associated with the Customer
But I'm looking to see why it might not show up for that Customer based on their Subscription

Ah okay I believe I see the issue
Looks like they are on a USD Subscription
But the Products you have added for upgrade/downgrade are all Euro Products
Customers can't switch currencies
So you need to add USD products here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/portal
Yes you would need to add USD Prices for any that you want to offer
Well you might need to create that Price in order to be able to add it
the price exists
it's not in the list for some rerason
all others 6 per currency worked, and 5/6 for USd
