Hi ๐ could you share the ID of a Subscription where you saw this behavior?
Hi Toby, thanks sub_1Lk5N6EktxYHxa5inSKChmAQ
Thanks, pulling that up
Did you update the settings on this page, under the manage failed payments section since that Subscription Schedule and Subscription were created?

Hello ๐
Stepping in as toby needs to step away
have you tried creating another schedule? Are you seeing the same behavior?
you mean after change the default setting ?
No, without changing any default settings
Yes, but I got the same behaviour , after payment failed the subscription is canceld
i will try again, and post the result
In General I would love to know how the subscription behave in case the payment failed ?? Will it retry in a couple of days ?. This is the behavior we have now with PayPal
can u please point me to some documentation ?
I believe the underlying subscription was cancelled due to delinquency which caused schedule to be aborted. My understanding is that we don't automatically abort the schedule if the payment simply fails

https://stripe.com/docs/api/events/types?lang=curl#event_types-subscription_schedule.aborted
If you test with a different payment method, you may see a different result. (I don't know for sure though as I haven't tested this flow personally)
I have been using the test payment provided to simulate a failed payment , so we can set up the webhook correctly
do subscription provide any kind of retry logic in case of failed payment ? and if yes, where can I configer it ?
Yes we do have retry logic for subscriptions, you can use the dashboard to configure it
