I've looked over the docs but I'm confused if it refers to bank debits, transfers or something else
I don't believe we have an actual list of all the supported banks (since to my knowledge, it's a really long list)
Is there a specific reason you need it?
Yep, we need to support direct bank payments as the pay amounts are sometimes in the thousands
The reason I ask is I know that before starting this project, the previous person used Plaid for bank payments (and its Stripe integration)
My task is to do the same but if bank payments are supported directly within Stripe, without the need for an external service, I'd love to stick to that
To rephrase my question:
Does this option allow people to pay directly from their bank account?
And to follow up, if I had a relatively short list of banks I need to support, could I post it here and have someone verify they're all supported?
Yes, us_bank_account allows your customers to pay directly from their bank account (you should no longer need Plaid to accept ACH debit payments through Stripe)
If you want to be extra sure that we support a specific bank, I'd recommend taking that to support (https://support.stripe.com/contact) and see if they can find that information for you
