Asking this because a lot of our customers debit card payments are now declining
Can you send the ID of one of those subscriptions?
Sure
For overall decline rates, I may have to ask you to reach out to our support to look in to it but I can take a quick look first.
I am not sure what checks we do here, will ask my colleagues. I don't know off the top of my head what would make a card suitable or not here

We have all these as subscription products
Yeah because the failed webhook returns insufficient funds even if the error is something else
So it's hard to get to the bottom of this
Yeah we don't check the funds on the cards so that is always a danger with renewals. The first subscription it looks like the bank declined the payment for another reason though unfortunately I don't have much insight in to this. As far as I can tell you are setting these subscriptions up properly so I don't have an idea of why there might be many declines overall. If you reach out to our support team they should be able to help you here https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true

So there's no such check if a card is an eligible card. Not from the funds point of view but if that card allows for recurring payments
👋 stepping inas Pompey needs to step away
Yeah as noted there is nothing wrong with your integration... looks like you are using Stripe Checkout to start these Subscriptions.
