I don't think we support passing a line item in setup mode
As the flow is only to save the payment method without charging the card/payment method.

OK thanks. So how are people handing SCA with Stripe Checkout where the customer has to validate with their bank? The bank validation is failing (the bank seems to choke on validating a $0 request.)
