That is fine, I just want to make sure that we can in some cases create a paymentIntent with the amount and application_fee_amount exactly the same, and my platform receives it in its entirety

Yeah, so they would see the payment come through, then a transfer out of their balance for the same amount. But it is possible to have amount of the charge be equal to application_fee
