I see, after further reviewing, connected Standard accounts in test mode will be restricted but it would not prevent you from testing. While trying to test are you seeing an error?

I can finish the purchase normally! This is good. However, I wanted to be able to test the split function, i.e. the splitting/redemption of payments. Is there any way to test this?

There's nothing in that article that mentions splitting a payment. I need way more information than what you're giving me. Are you coding anything? Or are you simply using Dokan to process payments? What is presenting your payments page?
