Does payment intents work with AvaTax?

I believe AvaTax is only for Billing (Subscriptions/Invoices)

But I'm not intimately familiar with Avalara/AvaTax as I focus on integrating the Stripe API directly. You would want to reach out to Avalara with any questions about that
