When you see in the Payout list of the Connected account it displays what we have sent "285669A homelab LFPay"

And where did you took the first screenshot you shared with the wrong statement descriptor?

Nope it is the correct statement descriptor which is displayed in the stripe

This statement descriptor is displaying for the whole connected account, But for the transaction level details it is displayed in the list

But in the client bank account remittence form it displays only the first screenshot statement descriptor and not the other one which I sent

Is my understanding correct?

• In the API you set statement_descriptor: "285669A homelab LFPay"
• You can see this statement descriptor when looking at the connected account Stripe dashboard
• But on the bank statement that the merchant gets, there's the wrong statement descriptor

But our customers are asking "285669A homelab LFPay" statement descriptor to be displayed in their bank statements instead of "www.braintreesci.com"

Thanks for the clarification. I would recommend to ask Stripe support directly, as I'm not very familiar with how statement descriptor works for payouts. https://support.stripe.com/contact
