I can't really advise on the amount of time before you should expire a cart — that is going to depend on your product.

For 3DS, the indication is when a PaymentIntent is in the requires_action status

But there is no webhook for this.

Thanks for the quick reply. If someone begins a 3ds flow, is there any time limit? Or can it be indefinite?

That is up to the issuer

#

Usually they time out after a certain amount of time

#

Like 20 mins or an hour.

#

But some don't and it can be indefinite.

We don't control that from our side.
