thanks Bismark one moment!
Apple Pay still having issues getting that to work. We keep getting the following in the response:
""failure_message": "Your card was declined. Your request was in test mode, but used a non test (live) card. For a list of valid test cards, visit: https://stripe.com/docs/testing.","
We have done the following:
- Turned on Apple Pay in Stripe
- Associated the Domain and have re-done so just to be sure
- Tried the Apple Sandbox testing Doc - but this seems to only be valid if I'm building a new app that's going to take Apple Pay, Stripe has already built it
Any other suggestions?
Do you have a real card in your Apple Pay Wallet?
how can I check that via the dashboard? assisting a client
It isn't in the Stripe Dashboard. This would be in their Apple Wallet on their device
System Preferences --> Wallet & Apple Pay
If they are on a Mac for instance
When testing Apple Pay you use a real card, but as long as you are using your test API keys then we swap out that real card for a test card.
So the real card won't be charged.
But it is required to have a real card in your Wallet for the button to show and testing to work.
understood I will relay this to the client, but do you mind if I check and verify system preference really fast?
Can you clarify what you mean by that?
Like no rush on checking on this
We'll be here 🙂
ok gotcha thanks!
