hey @tough sonnet
We currently have a Connect - Destinations Charges integration that works perfectly. For our growth and future functionality, we need to offer a new way to get paid to our customers. My question: is it possible for us to use Stripe without Connect and get all the funds back into our account and pay the customer on invoice?
I don't really grasp what "pay the customer on invoice" could mean
More simply, are we allowed to use Connect for our connected accounts, and Stripe classic without Connect for us on the same app?
yes
it's fairly common though you can also have 2 accounts to separate the funds completely
Some of our clients do not want to receive the money directly, but prefer to invoice us at the end of the month for example. So we need to get 100% of the funds back and not use Connect.
gotcha
Ah, I hadn't thought of that option. I'll discuss it with the team. It could be a good solution
Now that you understand our problem, does a 2ᵉ account seem like the best option?
I don't know sorry, it depends on so many factors that I can't really help you make that decision. Most businesses would do one account if they all flow similarly for the same business
Will it be a completely different account or a sub-account if I created a new account from my company dashboard?
completely different/separate
