yes, we want to let the customer setup a subscription in advance or you can say buy a plan in advance, so he pays when he schedules but it actually starts from a future date

hmm I don't think that's something subscription schedules support at the moment🤔

An alternative,

You could accept a one-time payment at first and create a subscription schedule
The first phase of the schedule can be $0 price
And on the second phase, you switch to your actual recurring price

Or you can offer a trial for the first phase
