Hmm okay I think I was wrong initially.

https://stripe.com/docs/india-recurring-payments#limitations states that the Sources API does not support recurring payments.

So I don't think a mandate is even being created here and these tests probably aren't running as expected due to that.

ah. okay. so using tokens to store payment info for customers is no good. i'll need to migrate to payment methods, payment intents, and setup intents in order to properly accept subscription payments from customers in India, correct?

Currently, all issuing banks only support INR for subscriptions
