hi! I don't think it's required, you can use Connect and have your platform account conduct its own business and also just happen to be a platform making calls on behalf of sellers accounts; as far as I know you're not required to split them. You can if you think it would make sense

I felt like it would be cleaner but maybe not! I wonder if having 2 separate accounts would confuse Stripe Tax though

they would have entirely different settings yeah so might be hard to keep them in sync.
