If you physically use those readers in one location then you don't need the fleet management, I think

they're actually shipped out to a bunch of locations

but if I do fleet mgmt then I have to take on the logistics on unbind them and all that

Ah okie. I think there are several advantages mentioned on the Doc like customize their setting by location, group and manage.... It's recommended overall

ah yup those are definitely nice-to-haves. I'm just wondering if, say, if I ignore them, do my readers get bricked 1 day or such?
