Hello, I recommend using a Stripe Partner that gives you a pre-built point of sale solution, they will have written the code for you. That isn't something we know too much about so I recommend searching for them online or look one up here: https://stripe.com/partners/directory

I don't recommend doing an integration yourself if you haven't done one before, just using a Stripe Partner's app or plugin is quicker/faster

alternative is to hire a software developer who will build an integration for you. Terminal integrations are fairly intensive.

I just want something simple, enter the amount in BBPOS WisePOS E reader. Customer inserts the card, charged. That's it

yeah I understand, there isn't anything simple out of the box AFAIK. Like the Terminal Readers are meant to be used by an integration for whose code you write, or used with a Partner's App/Plugin who has written the code for you

Looks like the tutorial has ruby library, if I install that and copy the code, enter my key, will it work?

no it will not work as is

you could need hours or days worth of tinkering and writing custom code to get it working
