Thank you for your patience. After digging, I believe that the Payment Element does not currently support Canadian pre-authroized debits, but am trying to confirm that.

Yes, it does seem like the Payment Element does not currently support that type of payment method. Thank you for raising this to our attention, I'm filing a request to have our documentation corrected.
