I see the default currency for the price used in that request is USD.

The request to create the subscription omitted the currency parameter, so the default currency was used.

Could you try using gbp instead? https://stripe.com/docs/api/subscriptions/create#create_subscription-currency

i tried passing currency but I was stupidly passing nil since it wasn't set on my local model
