So with your terminal integration, you first confirm the payment with the terminal device and then capture the funds. Correct?

Well I would need to test this but I'm wondering if the transfer is firing on the /confirm call and therefore is just ahead of when the funds are captured. Will need to test it out though

the funds are definitely captured before i do the transfer

Okay but the purpose of the source_transaction parameter is to await the resolution of the source transaction before making the transfer. If you manually wait that long then it's up to you to validate you have a sufficient Stripe balance to cover the funds in the transfer
