What is the prorated amount you're expecting?

i purchased the Premium 10 user plan with quantity 14. then i went to upgrade plan and here the plan was preselected with qtn 14, and i removed that and added another plan costing 300$. shouldn't it be 300-(14*10) = 160?

#

and does it not happen instantaneously, why in next billing cycle?

#

oh okay, this is because it is calculating for next cycle too. but how to make it instantaneous update for current cycle. as the user is going to pay in advance?

Are you doing this strictly via the Dashboard?

#

What is the actual update you're trying to do?

i am testing, so that i can implement. my use case is if someone has bought a plan costing him 100$ and upgrades to other plan with 150$ anytime within the current tenure of the older plan, prorata should happen for the remaining time from that year and in next year the lastet selected plan get revised but not charging for that ahead of time. only charing the prorated amount for the current tenure instantly.

So you do want to prorate the upgrade or you don't? Sorry it's not clear from your example

#

You don't charge for the proration, it would be a credit for the unused time on the old plan in this case

#

Sounds like you essentially want to schedule an upgrade?

i want to charge the customer for 16 AUG 2022 - 16 AUG 2023 this duration instantly

#

and for 16 AUG 2023 - 16 AUG 2024 in the next billing cycle

okay, let me look if it fits

#

any place where i can test it from UI?

You would just do the upgrade in the Dashboard and the invoice would be generated to reflect the changes

#

We'd then finalise and attempt to pay the invoice within ~1 hour
