I have a custom checkout flow. Do you know how I can display the tax amount to my customer, since they don't enter their zip code until actually checking out?

If you use Stripe Tax on subscription, you can expand latest_invoice field to get tax information as described in Step 3: https://stripe.com/docs/tax/subscriptions#create-a-subscription

Thanks for this information. I may be missing it, but after reviewing this I'm still not sure how I can display the tax amount to a first time customer prior them entering their payment details and providing a zip code?

One last question. I think I read Stripe purchased Tax Jar. Do you know if there are plans to sunset Tax Jar in favor of Stripe Tax? I was going to evaluate the effort to use each, but if Tax Jar is going to go away then the way forward is obvious...
