What types of errors are you referring to?

Payment errors such as invalid card or not enough funds etc

incorrect zip that sort of thing

I'm really asking if there's a way to get those specific errors back with Google Pay cards

You can use Stripe test cards while you are in Test mode: https://stripe.com/docs/testing#cards

Btw I got the google pay button showing up finally. It was some weirdness with how my react components were handling context values and local state. I know I can use those test cards but would they work through the Google Pay button? I guess I'll test and find out 🙂

But you can also register as a Google Pay dev and get access to their own test wallet which comes with a bunch of test cards that load into your Google Account
