is there anyway I can use Stripe as l subscription engine and pay via PayPal as paid_out_of_band?

I think that may be more work than it is worth. Our Subscriptions are designed to automatically attempt payments on a recurring basis, so you would have to override a lot of default behavior just to use them as tracking objects. Out of curiosity, what country is your Stripe account based in?
