Yes, for custom accounts you can create an account debit https://stripe.com/docs/connect/account-debits

Debiting Express and Custom accounts

With Connect, your platform can directly debit the Stripe balance of an Express or Custom account.

It says that it debits the Stripe balance of the connected account, not their real bank account. Would that still work ?

Their Stripe account already has a negative balance, so we want them to inject "real money" in it to set it back to 0.

👋 stepping in here. You toggle the debit_negative_balances flag on the account to have debits be performed. See: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/account-balances#accounting-for-negative-balances

This is only supported in certain countries.

Hey, we already toggled the debit_negative_balances flag two days ago, but no luck. It is a canadian account, so it should be enabled.

Should we see a failed attempt from Stripe somewhere if you tried to debit them already ?
