what's the collection_method set to? if its send_invoice then yeah I believe the update to days_until_due should work (would recommend testing it out as I haven't tested this personally)

No I thought so.. But maybe updating the subscription upon creation completion could work instead - since they are present at time of checkout I dont think that is the issue for affected RBI customers, but on renewal
