Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ I haven't seen this error before and will need to investigate a bit. I saw that you referenced some objects in your previous thread so I'm going back to look at those, but if you have any recent objects associated with the occurrence of this message then could you share those here?

Absolutely! This is the latest setup intent started by the client: https://dashboard.stripe.com/setup_intents/seti_1LUXTJEnZpvAdWWmilrPYNkw. Otherwise, there really isn't any new information. The stripe modal repeated the same error as last time.

Other information I gathered from the meeting from the client:

  • They are using Canadian Western Bank
  • They have tried multiple account credentials (all with the same bank) and none have worked
  • They get past the account #, password, and even the security question stage

Sorry, I'm struggling to find anything beneficial. All I've been able to find so far is, that error message is ours and we raise it if problems verifying the account are encountered.

My specific question is: why can't the client add a pre authorized debit payment method? What does this error actually mean?

Also: Is Canadian Western Bank supported by stripe for pre authorized debits?
