sure thanks
this is continuing a previous discussion that I had to leave due to time constraints:

Gotcha. There's not currently one of our terminal experts online. Can you write into support: https://support.stripe.com and mention my discord user name (codename_duchess) and we can work this out in a ticket?
Find help and support for Stripe. Our support center provides answers on all types of situations, including account information, charges and refunds, and subscriptions information. Get your questions answered and find international support for Stripe.
Let me know once you've done so
sent email
our challenge is that statistically, when we have a discussion here things get researched. when it switches to email, the issues are abandoned.
Yeah I understand that concern. What I will do is escalate this to our terminal expert as soon as they're online today
And assign them the ticket
That way it doesn't have to go through all the escalation paths
thank you 🙂
No problem!
Ok I grabbed your ticket. It's assigned to me, but I will pull in our terminal person as soon as they're online
theres another issue in an email chain with subject "Server-driven payment collection issue" Hanzo wrote: "Our terminals process debit transactions in the US through the credit card networks (on credit rails rather than debit rails) so mostly no PIN is required for verification. However, I'm curious how we'd handle it for internationally issued cards. I'll look into it and let you know what I find." (italics mine)
We waited over a month before asking for an update only to be rebuffed by Marina with "we are still digging into this for you and would like to assure you, the moment we surface any data regarding your issue we will reach back out through here! All the very best and have a splendid day!"
I'm sorry that happened. Looks like something fell through the cracks. I'll bring that up to the same person and see if they have the bandwidth to take that one on too
thank you!
