Off-hand I'm not seeing any details about the lifecycle of that mandate, and when it moved to an inactive state.

Ah, found the cause. That mandate became inactive because a previous payment was disputed, so we consider the mandate to no longer be active.

I think it makes sense that a dispute would invalidate a mandate. Since the mandate essentially represents an agreement between the payer and the payee. A dispute means there is a disagreement about a payment which would invalidate the agreement the mandate represents
