If I remember correctly, our upcoming orders API supports coupons but I don't think we provide a dialogue there for coupon validation https://stripe.com/docs/orders

But yes, for our non-beta offerings we don't support coupons outside of Checkout and Billing

Hi @trail spire, thanks for responding. I don't have the time (or inclination) to rework our checkout process, so that's not an option right now but thanks for pointing it out.

It's a shame there's no way to update redemption on a coupon through the API; I could get a long way towards a solution if I could use your APIs for most of the grunt work!

Yeah, adding more stuff like that is on the roadmap but unfortunately at the moment we don't have more pre-built components for you for payment intents + coupons
