Good question. I don't think we support setting custom strings to that extent at the moment but will look in to this and get back to you
Ok, thank you. Do you know if there are any plans to add Catalan in the short term?
I don't know if it is on the roadmap unfortunately and I am not finding a way to set this overall. Consulting a colleague quickly but at the moment I don't think we support your use case.
Understood. I stand by in case your colleague knows of a way to do this. Many thanks!
Hi there ๐ jumping in as I'm taking a closer look at this, please bear with me a couple minutes while I do some digging.
The closest thing that I'm finding, is the ability to adjust the placeholder text when working with our individual Card Elements.
https://stripe.com/docs/js/elements_object/create_element?type=cardNumber#elements_create-options-placeholder
ok! I will try to do it with the placeholder text
Thank you for the support. If you discover any other alternative, I will be happy to hear from you.
๐ Happy to help! If I come across anything else I'll let you know, but I didn't see this option for the Card Element (the single element version) or the Payment Element so I don't think there is another approach for accomplishing this.
I hope that in the future more languages will be supported ๐
