Hello! The real question here is why are the banks/card issuers treating the payments as international payments - if it's because you (your stripe account) is associated with a different country, then there's very little you can do about that

Yeah I don't think there's anything really you can do here - switching to Payment Element wouldn't result in any change that I know of/wouldn't affect what's sent over to the card networks. I'd recommend writing into support (https://support.stripe.com/contact) to see if they have any other suggestions
