we check the validity of the card details when they're saved(https://support.stripe.com/questions/check-if-a-card-is-valid-without-a-charge) but of course a real payment can fail at the end of the trial, that's normal enough and any payment attempt could be declined in general

yes there are options you can pursue there like using Radar to require 3D Secure on the SetupIntent of a card

Radar is something you can configure in your dashboard and is compatible with Checkout

i've just enabled "Request 3DS if 3D Secure is supported for card"

which I hoped would stop this

but the subs are still coming in

they're clearing using stolen cards

but im not getting any radar stuff showing

because its not actually charging the card

its just setting up the subscription with a 14 day trial
