What you are defining is how often Stripe generates payments. How long they take to reach the external account is dependent on the speed of bank transfers in the country in question.

Yes. I am asking about when stripe initiates a payout from an express account to its bank account. Let’s say I set delay_days to 5 and on the 4th day I initiate a transfer to the express account. Will the payout of those funds initiate the next day or those funds will now wait 5 days to payout from the time of the transfer?

Okay delay days is different from a schedule

In that case those are the number of days the funds need to be in the account balance before getting paid out

#

So in your above scenario, no the funds you transferred would not be in the next day payout
