Are you still getting 500 errors when you retry the request? Or are you still getting them with other requests?

Stepping in here
It seems like that there was probably a race condition and it caused that error to be raised.

If the retry fails as well, please let me know.

I'd also recommend writing in to our support with as much as details that you can provide (support@stripe.com) about this so that I can flag it internally and we can look into it.
