Cause #1, you can just place your house near a teleporter. And it's only a short drive anyway, or walk if you put it closer.

And if you're worried about the costs of teleporting. The money is farmable anyway by selling the event cards you get from killing zombies and opening the crates from them. You really won't be losing money.

#2, 10 minutes is not a long time by any means for tping such a large distance.

While waiting for the 10 minutes CD, if you really want to wait it out instead of using a teleporter, just do something else in the meantime. Whether that be organizing Inv, farming resources, building/designing, chatting on Disc, or just eating dinner IRL.

10 minutes passes by extremely quickly in game sense.
