There isnt much to say there but if i were you i'd spam white attacc less, dodge more, holdchecking (to see how would my opponeney react), and parry more

The reason i could release blue after because i holdchecked you and it seems to me chu dun parri at all

This is the weakness i exploited from observation of last spar where you dun parri at all, so i released 1.0 right in the get go

For defensive skills there're 2 good cases you can use to maximize damage limitation either being staggered with white attack => they're going to combo you, or after getting parried (except nunchucks & fistblade because those are 1 hit counterattack)

1.0 because you rarely parri weakness being used again, the parry iz because peepos kinda get madge after continuous clash and want to assert dominance psychology, hence the parri. After getting staggered generally you want to dodge behind but slightly towards a direction left/right (by swinging your camera right/left b4 dodge) to avoid getting ranged shot)

The further i'm the more reaction time im allowed to parri it, the second parri was pretty guessing because you're new to the game, you're kinda panik rn after we both not parry to signal readi yet + you just got parried once, so im certain you'd release that, the third parri was because chu got parried and it was a dagger. Dagger mechanic iz after clash it can release boue attack immediately, i'm certain you would because chu're nyew and most likely panik spam mouse

For first fight if i were you, i would:

• Closing distance: Fan range is longer than DH
• The 2nd time he releases the follow up blue after [h] or [v] i would be able to parry on reaction because im now prepared for it (always keep in mind which junction is the "going to blue-able attack" such as after 1-2, i'm always on high alert to see if my enemy turns blue for the 3rd)
• Camera: He flew above and charged blue on air, i believe you could've been able to parri it if chu noticed
• Best usecase for defensive skill are generally after being parried (except nunchucks and fistblade) or getting staggered the first moment losing neutral. Getting bonked by [v] of Fan does not follow-up-able with a combo, so the skill was a waste
• Tessa F1 specifically, play super aggressive (1.0 blue and parry) during that 3s Fortail effect, because you cant get punished for it
• Don't run around, holdchecked and stand still with proper spacing, there's no ranged weapon so you wont get hit by anything, running around may result in being approached unexpectedly and staggered with white attacc
