What difficulty game mode are you playing? If you play on casual it should be 1 min only for egg incubation and 10mins for large eggs most of those egg I only picked up tho so its passive are useless or no good passive at all

Singleplayer is one player.

Private Co-op(invite code) is 4 players max and relies on host being online.

Server is 32 players max, can be open to public(community), private with IP(dedicated), can add password (which also allows ingame cheats/slash cmds), hosting depends on how you host it.

Progress-wise for the Player, it's probably the same for every mode since you can tamper with settings.

Building, exploration, etc. is probably faster with more people.
