Based on the ruling in regards to Defiant Rage's effects being lost, if a model leaves 10" of the model with leadership it loses the bonuses of Defiant Rage: https://discord.com/channels/836950369791377408/1405329472831357062. As such, if you have a model that is within 10" of a leadership ability that provides a triggering affect (such as Defiant Rage) and your opponent takes control of said model, that would therefore mean that the model loses effect from the Leadership (it is no longer friendly), and thus would therefore also then lose the benefits from the triggered ability.
So, as an example.
- An Ursine Shifted is 5" away from an Ursine Apex. It therefore benefits from Leadership: Defiant Rage.
- It takes damage from a Ranged/Magic attack, and so gains +2 ARM and +2 to its melee attack damage rolls.
- It is targeted, and hit, by Befuddle. The opponent takes control of the model, meaning it is no longer friendly to the Ursine Apex and so loses Leadership Defiant Rage. It therefore loses +2 ARM and and +2 to its melee attack damage rolls
- After it has advanced, control returns to its original player, it regains Leadership Defiant Rage, however, does not regain +2 ARM and +2 to its melee attack damage rolls.
