Does a mercenary model with the attached rule lose the faction “mercenary”? So korovnik attached to Ekatarina would be winter korps but would he still be mercenary also?

Mercenary models that are, in the example given, consider Khador for the purpose of effects.
So you can cast blizzard on Ekat and Ekats can cast Banishing Ward on Korovnik. Still a Merc though.

Infernals and Dev has re-reviewed this and these attachments would in fact lose the Mercenary faction and would solely be the faction of their attached Caster

Apologies to piggy back on this, but does the attached mercenary model keep its new faction tag after destroyed? Ie, could korovnik be returned via Orsus feat?
