HI all, have a question which had muddied the waters for me a litttle bit of my understanding of moving units, when some models start KD & some don't.

I was under the impression that a model that has forfeit it's movement action would be considered to be "under the effect of a rule which restricts it from advancing" and such if I had unit where 2/5 models had forfeit their movement to stand up and then were placed via unit movement they would forfeit combat action.

Example 2 here states that had be retuned to play via grim returns and has to forfeit both movement and combat IS NOT under the affect a rule which restricts it from advancing.

So it would begood to get clarity on the above.

A model that forfeits its Normal Movement is not suffering an effect that prevents it from advancing.

It can still use Side Step, Overtake, Dodge, Reposition, etc.

There was an Infernal ruling on the old Community Portal (by @frail pasture I believe) specifically dealing with developer intent regarding models that forfeited movement to stand up from being knocked down, but that was before the SFG hand-off and before the most recent rules update, so who knows if it still applies.
