I've got a question about Mercenary casters in unlimited factions.
May I use 3Caine in Cygnar?
If yes, what is his faction?
What warjacks he can have in his BG?

Caine 3 is a Mercenary Warcaster who works for Cygnar, so his Faction is Mercenary.

So he cannot have any warjacks available in unlimited Cygnar?

I understand that there is no rule that would allow warjacks with Bond to be added to his BG?

That's correct, he can only take Mercenary warjacks.

I should amend my earlier statement; he works for Cygnar but per the Army construction rules if your only Warcaster is a Mercenary than you are playing a Mercenary list and can only include Mercenary models. So strictly speaking you can only use him in Cygnar if you're playing Unlimited Duos and taking him as your second warcaster.

All that being said the general vibe with Unlimited, particularly in casual play, is to just talk to your opponent and if they're cool with it then go for it.

Loren has said as much in the past with regards to folks wanting to recreate Flame in the Dark for casual games.

The app won't actually stop you from making Caine 3 your only warcaster and attaching Cygnaran jacks to him, so just talk to your opponent about it before hand. Personally in a casual game night or narrative Unlimited event I would allow it
