Brief Description:
as the title suggests, the audio to rumble feature cannot be turned off once turned on.
Detailed Explanation:
It's somewhat of a minor issue but a weird one. I was testing rumble function on MH Wilds with my DualSense controller connected via bluetooth, since the game does not provide any native rumble to the dualsense controller unless it's plugged in via USB cable and the rumble is passed through via audio device. This is when i have the virtual controller under either Native or DualSense emulation. DualShock4 emulation does have native rumble passthru.
In DSX, under Hapitics | Rumble section, turning on Audio to Rumble feature somewhat emulates the rumble the game would produce although not 100%, and it works on both Native and DualSense emulation. But once i wanted to turn the feature off and try the DualShock 4 native rumble, i realize the Audio to Rumble feature would not toggle off. I would clock on the toggle and it shows it's turned off, and i could click onto another tab (e.g. go to controller LED tab) and then click back into the "Haptics | Rumble" tab, the "Audio to Rumble" toggle would be on again by itself. I have tried toggling between emulation types while in the Haptics | Rumble page, and restarting DSX, and restating my PC. With or without the controller connected, the symptom persists. It does not carry over between profiles however, but the same symptom would appear if i toggle on Audio to Rumble in a different or a new profile i created.
Eventually I was able to resolve it simply by resetting the Haptics Rumble Presets on the top of the page. So it's nothing too serious but definitely a weird issue and I just wanted to inform you guys about it.
Platform and Setup:
DSX Version: v3.1.5.3
Controller: DualSense
Connection: Bluetooth
Emulation Type: Native, DualShock 4 emu, DualSense emu
v3.1.6 literally got published the second i clicked post on this thread, and this issue still exists but i guess we can all just use the newly added "Bluetooth Audio/Haptic Feedback" instead of "Audio to Rumble" now lol
it's nothing major, and for the time being i will enjoy the freshed added "Bluetooth Audio/Haptic Feedback" feature
