Hello,

I recently returned to gaming after a three-week break. At some point, I received a prompt from Nefarius asking me to update, which I dismissed as non-urgent and closed.

Now that I have time again, I tried to launch DSX and connect my controller. However, after connecting, the profile automatically switched to a "controller disconnected" state. I tried selecting both PS and Xbox presets, but the program consistently throws the error shown in the attached screenshot and then crashes.

I attempted a clean reinstall of Nefarius by uninstalling it and cleaning the registry. When I launched DSX again, it requested the Nefarius installation, which I completed. Unfortunately, the issue persists with the same error.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this?

Thank you for the link.

I have attempted to update Nefarius using it approximately 10 times now. Unfortunately, the update process itself fails every time. I have attached a screenshot of the update error to this post.

I'll try again, but i think it will not help...

Using the direct .msi installer finally worked for me. The issue appears to have been that the .exe installer kept dropping the connection/disrupting the download when it reached around 90%.
