#Emulated dualshock limited left stick

Hi, I tried playing a game with my dualsense emulating a dualshock using ds4windows and noticed the left stick has a limited range of motion for some reason. I saw ds4windows is no longer maintained and bought dsx, only to find I'm having the exact same problem. I have no idea why this is happening, is there a driver I can try uninstalling or something?

this is pushing the stick all the way to the left

there's no problem when using the pad natively, emulating a dualsense, or emulating an xbox 360 pad

oh wait I just reset the calibration to default and it's fine now 🤦
