Why does DSX use so much VRAM even if its not even on screen? It usually sits around 80 MB, but I have seen it go up to almost 300MB before. I only have an 8GB graphics card, so if DSX can jump to that much when I'm playing a game that pushes my VRAM close to 8 GB, it could be a real problem.

Yes, you can view how much dedicated vram each application is using in the details tab of task manager.

i will check tomorrow while i play rocket league but first try using dsx without steam open in the background
