Im getting random left stick movements on a brand new ps5 controller, so im assuming its not calibrated right but i cant find the ability to do that anywhere in the dsx software. also, udp is always red. how can i get it green, i have done the opening of the port in the firewall to no avail.

The UDP will only be green if it's communicating with a mod.

Sadly its a common thing on ps5 controllers
Whats the serial number of yours?
I mean, the code in the back of it
If it ends with CT1 then its the problematic controller
If it ends with CT1A it should be the fixed one
Sadly drift in dualsense is a common thing, i believe its due to the extremely sensitive analog
There is no way to fix it in a software, maybe applying some deadzone to the left stick
But i have no clue if dsx supports deadzones
You would have to open it in the worst case to fix the problem, or use the warranty to get another dualsense
Try to update your firmware and see if it fixes the problem
