I love the Scribe mechanic and concept, it's exciting and powerful to work through it, but it's honestly an immense chore to keep tabs on every Attribute and what scroll level you used on it.
My suggestion would be to add something similar to the "quick cast" potion bar but unique to each section (Magic, Scholar, World, etc...) so that you would apply the Scribe scrolls (Scroll of Advancement/Power/Learning/Excellence) to the whole section. I believe that with the correct rebalancing of cost, it could be so much better than the current system.
Also, if the scrolls affect the whole section, it might be interesting for them to have some sort of durability and fade over time (like an 8hr buff that runs out so you have to keep crafting them, auto-teaching the player to make better ones each time.)
